10% of iPhone and iPod download Skype App

eBay CEO,  John Donahoe speaking at a retail sector conference in Barcelona, reported on Wednesday that around 10% of all owners of an Apple iPhone or iPod Touch have downloaded the recently launched application that allows the popular gadgets to run Skype, EBay Inc.

Skype program was the largest application on the IPhone in 40 countries within 24 hours of it launch. Needless to say, why use up your minutes allowance, if any, if you can call any skype user around the globe.
