FreeBit Co.Ltd is a new Japanese company that recently released an iPhone app able to turn an iPhone into a web server. The app in question, named ServersMan, is being released to provide “Personal Data Center”. FeeBit also has video with additional information on server-enabling your iPhone. Once the app is installed, systems on the internet can access the iPhone to upload/download files using a brower through webDAV protocl. The app works as a Web server, storage with added “security” by Emotion Link Technology.

A PC can connect directly to the iPhone if both on the same network. If they are on separate networks, the FreeBit’s VPN software will initiate the connection.

Full features of ServersMan are available here.
