iPhone app made $1Million in 1 week

fast-iphone-appSince developers have rushed to get the Apple SDK for iPhone, each one of them has been trying to develop iPhone apps that can attract millions in users and potentially money. The latest report from TechCrunch confirmed that Social Gaming Network’s (SGN) Fleet Air Superiority Training, short for F.A.S.T. has successfully made $1 million in the first week of it launch only.

The pricing of F.A.S.T. varied since launch as it was selling for $9.99, but currently priced a $1.99 and is said to be making as much as $60,000 a day.
If anything to go buy, the massive success of this iPhone app and others is a proof that developers can get rich very quickly if they hit the “right tone” iPhone users are willing to dance on. That’s if their app made it to the top of the chart of must have’s and stayed there, at least for a while.
There certainly a market for quality iPhone apps that entice the user. Such apps will likely require big budget to develop and advertise for, hence the rush of large gaming companies currently working on more apps for the mobile market in general.
